17 bears, previously confined in captivity at Black Forest Bear Park in Georgia, were rescued after enduring hunger and begging visitors for food.

The female bears, forced into breeding, were deprived of the opportunity to bond with their cubs, as the newborns were separated from them.

Sam Simpson, in collaboration with PETA and the Atlanta Humane Society, successfully transported the bears to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado, following their rescue.

Fortunately, the bears now have access to a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, and they can freely explore and forage. Just imagine having 60 acres of space to roam after being confined for years! It must be an incredible feeling!
